Ignacio Benavides García
FOUNDING PARTNER
Ignacio has over 15 years of experience in financial consulting, with specialization in valuation, financial modeling, and analysis of business plans.
Before founding MKD Advisors, Ignacio served as a Director in Deloitte’s Financial Advisory team, where he led the TMT sector within the valuation practice. In this role, he worked with some of Spain’s leading companies on valuation projects for a range of purposes, including corporate transactions, restructurings, financial reporting, tax, and internal management.
Earlier in his career, Ignacio was a Director at PwC’s Dublin office, where he collaborated with top global investment funds, U.S. multinational corporations, and Irish-listed companies. During this period, he led and executed valuation, modeling, and business plan development projects for a variety of companies and assets. Notable projects during his time in Dublin include valuations of equity and loans portfolios, start-ups, hybrid instruments, intangible assets, development of business plans for FP&A, independent reviews of business plans for refinancing, financial modeling for M&A and fundraising.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Ignacio holds the CFA certification and has taught postgraduate courses in valuation and business plan analysis.
